Ingka Group, the largest IKEA retailer, wanted to move from transactional supplier relationships to real partnership. That meant uniting 60,000 suppliers across regions, sectors and time zones behind one purpose: a better everyday life for people and the planet.
An ecosystem of innovation
Ingka Supplier Day 2022, a half-day global virtual summit built around four themes: Planet Positive, People Powered, Omnichannel Excellence and Partnering with Impact. Keynotes from Ingka leaders, co-creation workshops and live discussions invited suppliers to co-design the next chapter of sustainable growth.
We grouped key suppliers under the four themes and appointed an internal sponsor for each. We designed a global format that felt local, and turned each theme into a lasting collaboration lever rather than a one-off message. Afterwards, Ingka moved to more frequent supplier events, creating an ongoing platform for shared progress.
